RHAPSODY is a broad spectrum biofungicide for the prevention, suppression and control of soil-borne diseases on a wide range of annual and perennial bedding plants, potted flowers, foliage plants, deciduous trees and shrubs, and fruits and vegetables grown in protected environments. RHAPSODY enhances germination and plant growth by suppressing diseases caused by Rhizoctonia, Pythium, Fusarium and Phytophthora. Important Note: Rhapsody is registered for soil applications ONLY in protected growing environments such as glasshouses or greenhouses.
Resistance Management Tool
RHAPSODY contains a unique strain of Bacillus subtilis (QST 713) which produces an array of natural chemicals called lipopeptides. These powerful substances work together to control disease by punching holes in the cell membranes of pathogens, destroying bacteria as well as fungal spores, germ tubes and mycelia. RHAPSODY also creates a zone of inhibition on plant surfaces preventing disease pathogens from attaching, penetrating and infecting the plant. Since RHAPSODY controls diseases through multiple modes of action, it is ideally suited for programs aiming to manage resistance. If employing chemical fungicides with a single site of action, it is best to break up the chemical cycle by rotating RHAPSODY in the program.
Compatibility
RHAPSODY is a liquid formulation with very high suspensibility. It is compatible with a wide range of pesticides, fertilizers and adjuvants, including many commonly used spreader/stickers and organosilicone wetting agents, and complements standard disease control programs.

Worker Safety & Flexibility
RHAPSODY is an effective biological fungicide and bactericide that provides unsurpassed worker and environmental safety. It has a 4 hour re-entry interval that allows workers to get back to business soon after spraying. Rhapsody has a zero day pre-harvest interval, and since it leaves virtually no deposits on plant foliage or flowers, it can be used prior to harvest without leaving unsightly deposits or interrupting operations.

RHAPSODY is safe to beneficial insects and mites, and therefore fits well into biologically-based pest management programs.
Formulations
RHAPSODY is an aqueous suspension (liquid) that comes in a 1 gallon container. It is easy to mix and apply, and leaves virtually no spray deposit on flowers or foliage.
